GearRarity 1.0.0

See at a glance how geared a player is.

  • Rarity gems on the target frame: target a player and small purple, blue and green gems beside the portrait show how many pieces of each rarity they wear (an orange gem appears when they wear a Legendary).
  • Hover for the breakdown: every rarity they wear, empty slots, and when they were last checked (or why they can't be checked right now, such as out of range).
  • Remembered: players you've checked show instantly next time, and are quietly re-checked when you target them.
  • Tooltip line: players you've already checked get a "Gear" line in their tooltip when you hover them.
  • Polite inspecting: one request at a time, never in combat, and it shares results with Blizzard's Inspect window and other addons.
  • Settings in Options > AddOns > GearRarity (/gr).
