Gavrial's Corner v1.9.12
What's new
MissionAccomplished 1.9.12
Everything since 1.9.10 for WoW Classic Era 1.15.9: Questie's tracker inside the Noctis guide window, a calmer and smarter Bankert's Bags at the vendor, quest quantities that agree everywhere, protection for quest ingredients, and a long list of fixes. All eleven packages are updated. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.
Noctis Guides
- With Questie installed, a Questie checkbox in the guide window puts Questie's quest tracker inside the window, in its own inset with a row of tabs above it: All, then one per zone Questie is tracking. A tab opens that zone and folds the others through Questie's own fold state, so its header clicks and the tabs always agree. The tracker scrolls with the wheel and a bar, closes and opens with the window, is inside it from login on, and unticking Questie hands it back to the screen. Questie's own Hide/Show is followed: with its pins hidden, the Noctis quest markers come back.
- The guide window is shorter and the docked tracker draws at 85%, so the window no longer fills the screen. Its close button works again (with the tracker docked the window is a protected frame, and the theme's close declined it). In combat the client refuses to show, hide or resize that window, so those wait for combat to end and say so once.
- A right click on the compass or its wings opens the guide window; the tooltip says so. The "leave this step unfinished?" prompt opens at the centre of the screen.
- Finishing a route, or jumping ahead from its last step, goes straight to the next recommended route: the authored next route, else the nearest level band ahead, else the automatic pick with finished routes left out. A route picked by hand counts as finished too.
- One button on the world map hides or shows every Noctis marker at once (left click the map, right click the minimap); with Questie installed it joins Questie's button row.
- Questie interoperability for the marks: the quest discovery markers step aside for a quest Questie is already drawing, one marker per quest. Questie keeps frame names in its index, which the bridge now looks up, so a pin Questie has hidden no longer counts as drawn.
- Minimap pins and their numerals are drawn at about seven tenths of their world map size.
- Quest quantities agree with each other: one shared objective snapshot feeds the tooltips, the guide wings and panel, the progress percentage, the popups and the party label.
- Exact-quest pickup and hand-in at an NPC you opened yourself, including Classic's legacy greeting with no gossip IDs.
- Independently resumable route progress, reusable route sections, authored choices, a Route Library with an explicit confirmed restart, and a strict data-only route codec; imported routes are never evaluated as Lua.
- Reviewed quest-log cleanup behind native warning fences; a bounded travel graph; native flight review with fare confirmation; flight estimates measured from your own arrivals.
- Route progress no longer counts the step you are standing on as finished; the compass readout, the panel caption and the bar agree.
- Boarding waypoints and named crossings for every cross-continent jump in the Horde route family; guide arrows no longer point across an ocean.
- The empty step panel is fixed; the step counter no longer runs under the close button; the dropdowns share one edge.
- The route validation notice prints one line, can be turned off, and can no longer leave a guide compiled but not current. The parser and validator were repaired against the whole shipped catalogue.
Bankert's Bags
- Walk-up selling: at any merchant, after a short settle, the bag repairs (if that is on) and sells grey junk in one run under the buyback safety net, then prints one line with the count and the gold. Equipment never sells on its own: the Sell button opens one checklist of the gear the rules propose, and nothing sells until "Sell checked" is clicked.
- Two reasons nothing sold before: this client requires the third argument of the refund check (the call threw and every item read as possibly refundable), and it answers nil, not false, when asked whether you are dead. Both are fixed with tests that fail the old code.
- Dump junk is one click on the control row beside Sort: every eligible grey stack after a single confirmation naming the count and value, hidden while a merchant is open.
- Combined stacks in the grouped views: every stack of the same item is one tile showing the total.
- The bag no longer shuffles while you loot; an item that leaves closes its gap; the tile under the cursor keeps its tooltip through a repaint and through a wheel scroll.
- Category sections come in the order you reach for them, in whole columns with clean spacing; the quality glow's halo is no longer clipped; the footer reads at a glance; the search box sits over the grid.
- Eight controls instead of thirteen kinds; the settings popup holds the rest. Quick Launch stays visible above the window and follows every frame of a drag.
- Protection for quest ingredients across automatic selling, the junk sweep and pet food selection. Green gear is only offered on its own exact-item verdict. Enchanting is no longer assumed absent when the client returns nothing.
- Live bank deposit and withdraw planning on top of the existing transaction safety model.
Mahler's Armory
- Vendor and auction prices on the gear comparison (auction prices from Auctionator, TradeSkillMaster or Auctioneer when installed).
- A pure reward-list evaluator, so a quest's reward choices can be ranked by the same scorer the rest of the suite uses.
Naglet's Toolkit
- A flight frame: destination, an estimated time left measured from your own earlier flights, and a bar that drains. Named, cancellable local timers with a flight adapter.
Gavrial's Corner
- Per-character journey observations with sessions and history. A low health warning ladder and a drowning and fatigue alert read from the client's own mirror timer. Journey Tracker is opt in. The first death of a session is counted.
Guild Functions
- Guildmate alerts are no longer dropped while the roster is still empty after login; logging in no longer announces the entire guild as newly online; your own profession icons no longer vanish from the list.
The Menagerie and Spiritwalkers Path
- Native pet and Beast Training separation with bounded source-rank correction. Upcoming talent highlights, plan mismatch explanations and build-aware training advice.
Core and Suite
- A versioned capability registry, character profiles, a notification lease and one shared themed transient notice used across the suite. A centre placement in the popup layout for a dialog the player must answer.
- Every long dash in the suite replaced, with a lint that fails the suite if one comes back; a second lint catches a backslash Lua 5.1 would silently drop from a string.
- The startup tests bring the eleven packages up in every supported combination and send them the events a real client sends on login.
- A negotiated, session-bound party objective protocol and a compact party quest panel, behind its own opt-in.
