What is FunSum?

FunSum is a fun and helpful addon for Warlocks in World of Warcraft Classic Era that automatically sends entertaining messages when you summon players. It turns the mundane task of summoning into a fun social experience while keeping your party informed and engaged.

Installation

1. Download the FunSum addon
2. Extract the FunSum folder to your WoW Classic Era AddOns directory:
   • Windows: World of Warcraft\_classic_era_\Interface\AddOns\
   • Mac: World of Warcraft/_classic_era_/Interface/AddOns/
3. Restart WoW or type /reload if the game is running
4. You should see "FunSum loaded!" in your chat window

How to Use

Basic Usage

Simply cast Ritual of Summoning on a player as you normally would. FunSum will automatically:

1. Whisper the target with your location
2. Announce in party/raid chat that you're summoning them
3. Send a funny message in /say to encourage clicks
4. Show the "Click It!" button for additional reminders

Commands

• /funsum - Opens the options window
• /funsum test - Tests the message system with your current target (doesn't actually send messages)

Minimap Button

• Left-click: Sends a funny summoning message about your current target
• Right-click: Opens the options window
• Drag: Move the button around your minimap

"Click It!" Button

When you start summoning someone, a small window with a "Click It!" button appears:

• Click the button: Sends another funny reminder in /say
• Drag the window: Move it anywhere on your screen (position is saved)
• X button: Close the window (it will reappear on next summon)

Configuration Options

Access the options window by typing /funsum or right-clicking the minimap button:

Toggle Features

• Enable Whisper Messages: Whisper the target with location info
• Enable Party/Raid Announcements: Announce summons to your group
• Enable Funny Say Messages: Send entertaining messages in /say
• Enable "Click It!" UI: Show the Click It button while summoning
• Show Minimap Button: Toggle the minimap button visibility

Customize Messages

• Edit the list of funny messages in the large text box
• Add your own creative messages (use %s where the player name should appear)
• Remove messages you don't like
• Reset to defaults if needed

Troubleshooting
