FishAlert is a lightweight fishing utility for WoW TBC Anniversary (2.5.5) that automatically manages your master volume while fishing, so you can tab out, watch a video, or simply relax — and still hear every bite clearly.

Features

🔊 Auto Volume Control Set two volume levels — one for normal gameplay, one for fishing. FishAlert boosts the volume automatically when you cast and restores it the moment you loot, move, or interrupt the cast. No manual adjustments needed.

🎣 Smart Activation The addon is completely inactive until you equip a fishing pole. No background polling, no wasted resources. Equip your rod and everything turns on. Unequip it and everything turns off.

⏱ Lure Timer HUD A small, draggable overlay appears when your fishing pole is equipped, showing:

Remaining lure duration (color-coded green → yellow → red)
Your current Fishing skill vs. maximum

🗺 Minimap Button A minimap icon gives you quick access to the settings panel. Drag it anywhere around the minimap edge — position is saved between sessions. Compatible with MinimapButtonButton.

⚙ Settings Panel (/fa) Adjust Normal Volume and Fishing Volume with custom sliders. All settings are saved automatically per character.
