Ephyra's Combat Music

Ephyra's Combat Music is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that plays your own custom mp3 tracks whenever you enter combat.

Why use this?

Unlike other music addons, Ephyra's Combat Music reads files from a custom folder outside the addon directory. This means your music files will not be deleted when you update the addon!

How to Install Your Music

This addon does not include music (due to copyright). You must add your own.

1. Navigate to your World of Warcraft folder: _retail_\Interface\
2. Create a new folder named Music
3. Inside that, create another folder named Battles (Full path should look like: _retail_\Interface\Music\Battles\)
4. Place your .mp3 files inside that folder.
5. Rename your files sequentially:
   • song1.mp3
   • song2.mp3
   • song3.mp3
   • (etc...)
6. Log into WoW, go to Options > AddOns > Ephyra's Combat Music, and set the Total Songs count to match your files.

Slash Commands

• /ecm test - Test the music playback immediately.
• /ecm on / /ecm off - Enable or disable the addon.
• /ecm debug - Toggle debug mode to print song paths to chat.

This Addon was inspired by Sl0uchy_'s https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/simple-combat-music in it's core principles. However, all the code is written from scratch.
