Inspired by the original ElitePlayerFrame by Kryndon, this addon allows you to use custom textures on your PlayerFrame.

Originally using ElitePlayerFrame version 1.2 – I never did find a real 1.3 – as a basis, it was made to work with the Burning Crusade and beyond. It's since been rewritten multiple times to function better and introduce new options and features. It's also been designed to work without needing to be updated, so expect very few releases until Blizzard makes API changes, and always check "Load out of date AddOns" in the AddOns menu at the character screen.

Starting with version 1.9, all game types are supported with both branches in a single package. Both branches also have support for other addons to define their own custom frames.

Because I no longer have an active WoW subscription, my ability to test the Classic branch is limited by the scarce and unpredictable availability of Classic PTRs and free to play periods, so new releases may be forced to be alpha or beta until I can test them myself.

Mainline

The Mainline branch only supports the modern UI introduced in 10.0.0 with Dragonflight in the mainline game type. It has different frame modes and textures, and additional features compared to the Classic branch.

Frames

You can either specify individual frames to use, or use the auto mode which changes according to the following:

• Death Knight: Custom Kingsmourne based frame
• Demon Hunter: Custom Demon Hunter frame
• Level <Current expansion's max level>: Gold - Winged frame
• Level ≥<Previous expansion's max level or 10>: Silver - Winged frame
• Level ≥10: Silver frame
• Level 1–9: Normal frame

Classic

The Classic branch only supports the default UI used in classic game types. If you prefer to use the modern UI in classic game types, you can use ElitePlayerFrame (DFUI) with Dragonflight UI Classic instead. If you need support for versions of game types that are no longer live and the current version doesn't work, then please try 1.6.10 instead.

• Death Knight - Alliance: Blizzcon Death Knight based frame
• Death Knight - Horde: Alpha Death Knight based frame
• Demon Hunter: Custom Demon Hunter frame
• Level <Current expansion's max level>: Elite frame
• Level ≥<Previous expansion's max level or 10>: Rare Elite frame
• Level ≥10: Rare frame
• Level 1–9: Normal frame
