Adds all World Map icons (quests, POIs, flight points, dungeons, rares, etc.) to the Zone Map (Shift+M). Profiles, content-specific modes, opacity, and third-party addon integrations.

Description

🗺️ Enhanced Zone Map

Your Zone Map, fully loaded.
All the icons from the World Map — quests, flight points, rares, dungeons, world quests, and more — injected directly into the compact Zone Map (Shift+M). No extra windows. No fullscreen takeover. Just everything you need, right where you need it.

💡 Why Enhanced Zone Map?

Blizzard's Zone Map is fast, lightweight, and non-intrusive — but it's missing almost every useful icon the full World Map has. Enhanced Zone Map fixes that by injecting 22 data providers and 6 third-party addon integrations into the Zone Map you already use.

No custom frames. No performance overhead. Just Blizzard's own Zone Map, supercharged.

✨ Key Features

🧩 22 Blizzard Providers

Every icon type from the World Map, individually toggleable:

  • Quest Icons & Offers
  • Storyline / Campaign Quests
  • Bonus Objectives & World Quests
  • Vignettes (Rares & Treasures)
  • Flight Points
  • Dungeon & Raid Entrances
  • Group / Raid Members
  • Exploration Overlay (Fog of War)
  • Encounter Journal Bosses
  • Delves & Activity Tracker
  • Waypoints, Death Markers, and more

🔌 Third-Party Integration

Pins from your favorite addons show up automatically:

  • GatherMate2 — Ore, herb, & treasure nodes
  • HandyNotes — All plugins included
  • RareScanner — Rares, events, treasures
  • BtWQuests — Quest chain progression
  • PetTracker — Battle pet locations
  • TomTom — Waypoint support

Auto-detects installed addons. Nothing to configure — just works.

🎯 Content-Specific Modes

Different content needs different info. Enhanced Zone Map can automatically switch which pins are shown based on where you are:

Mode What Changes
⚔️ Dungeon Hides flight points, world quests, and gathering nodes — keeps it clean for the pull
💀 Raid Minimal clutter — group members, encounters, and scenario objectives only
🕳️ Delve Streamlined for solo/duo delve content
🏴 PvP / Battleground Strips all PvE pins — tactical, zero noise

Each mode has its own full set of toggles — customize exactly which providers appear in each content type. Enable "Auto Content Mode" and it switches seamlessly as you zone in.

👤 Profiles

Every character can run a different setup. Profiles save everything — provider toggles, mode settings, general options.

  • Create named profiles for different playstyles (farming, raiding, questing)
  • Switch between profiles per-character
  • Copy settings from one profile to another with one click
  • Reset any profile back to defaults
  • Delete profiles you no longer need

⚙️ General Settings

  • 🔒 Lock Map Position — Prevent accidental dragging
  • 🔍 Opacity Slider — Adjust transparency from 10% to 100%

🖥️ Options Panel

Everything lives in ESC → Options → Addons → Enhanced Zone Map, split across clean sub-pages:

Page What's There
📋 Overview Quick status, active profile, slash command reference
⚙️ General Map lock, opacity, auto content mode
🧩 Blizzard Providers Two-column checklist with Enable All / Disable All
🔌 Third-Party Addons Per-addon toggles with [Loaded] / [Not Installed] status
⚔️🕳️💀🏴 Mode Pages Dungeon, Raid, Delve, PvP — each with full provider overrides
👤 Profiles Create, switch, copy, delete, reset

⌨️ Slash Commands

Command Action
/ezm Open settings panel
/ezm apply Re-inject all providers immediately
/ezm profile <name> Switch to a named profile
/ezm profiles List all profiles
/ezm help Show all commands
