EnemyTargetList keeps you informed about enemy threat status with a dynamic, customizable display that you can tweak and check out via its handy preview, options, and help features.

Description

Functionality: EnemyTargetList is an addon that gives you a live view of enemy targets. It scans nameplates and displays enemy info on customizable bars, showing things like health, level, debuffs, and crowd control icons with different colors based on threat. The LiveView frame continuously updates during combat so you can keep track of which enemy is grabbing aggro.

Feature List:

  • LiveView: Real-time enemy target monitoring based on nameplate data
  • Customizable Bars & Layout:
    • Set the total number of bars
    • Configure bars per row with a maximum of 8 columns
    • Minimum bars per column adjust dynamically based on the max bars setting
  • Preview Mode: Test and preview your settings before applying them live
  • Options Menu: Adjust max bars, bars per row, debuff display, and live view toggle
  • CVar Checks: Verifies key nameplate settings and offers to update them for full addon functionality
  • Help Frame: Provides slash command info and a color legend for threat levels
  • Group Role Notifications: Alerts if any group member hasn't set their role for optimal performance
  • Slash Commands: Use /etl to open the options menu and /etl help to toggle the help frame

  • /etl - Opens the options menu
  • /etl help - Toggles the help frame with color legend

For optimal addon performance, ensure that:

  • Enemy nameplates are enabled
  • "Show All Nameplates" is turned on
  • The nameplate distance is set to a maximum of 41
  • In groups, every member has an assigned role (Tank, DPS, or Heal) for proper color-coding

The addon automatically checks these settings on login and offers to configure them correctly via popup if needed.
