Emote Control

Emote Control is a lightweight, modular auto-speech addon for World of Warcraft. It watches common gameplay events (combat, casts, interrupts, loot, achievements, deaths, and more) and outputs context-aware lines to the channel you choose, with plenty of guardrails so it stays fun instead of spammy.

It is built around phrase packs and triggers, so you can keep it simple (enable a few packs and go) or go full mad scientist (edit every trigger, build new ones, and export configs to share).

What it does

• Sends messages when events happen: combat start/end, deaths and rezzes, spell casts, interrupts, crits, loot, achievements, level-ups, bag full, repair needed, and more
• Supports multiple output channels, including SELF, EMOTE, SAY, PARTY, RAID, INSTANCE, and AUTO
• Uses smart fallback behavior so messages do not fail silently when chat is restricted

Customization

• Trigger Editor: enable/disable individual triggers, change cooldowns, channels, and message lists

• Mood profiles: switch the addon’s “personality” (default, serious, humorous, dark, heroic) when packs support it
• Dynamic message tokens: phrases can include contextual tags like <spell>, <target>, <zone>, <instanceName>, <time>, plus fun macros like <pick:a|b|c> and <rng:1-100>

• Global cooldown and per-trigger cooldowns
• Max messages per minute
• Rotation protection (prevents rapid-fire casts from flooding chat)
• Optional adaptive cooldowns that slow output automatically under heavy trigger load
