The questline had you prove you could overpower Fyrakk's remnant will. You fought the Echo in Aberrus, assembled the binding components, wrestled control away. The runes hold. The vellum contains the volatile magic.

Something still stirs when the shadowflame drinks deep. A presence. Not in control, but not gone either. On every kill it surfaces. A voice that isn't yours. Words you didn't choose. And if you're inside a raid or dungeon, your guildmates will hear it too, erupting from you like a yell before you even realize your mouth opened.
You're not possessed. You're just... not entirely the one in charge right now.
