Easy Assignment TBC

Easy Assignments is a raid-planning and coordination addon for The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition. It gives raid leaders a central workspace for current raid rosters, Raid Builder planning, saved raid teams, boss maps, raid-wide assignments, live addon sync, and personal assignment tracking. Whether you are planning positioning, interrupts, healer coverage, utility jobs, or full encounter setups, Easy Assignments keeps the plan in one place and makes it easier to share with the raid.

What it does

• Adds a full planning workspace with Home, Raids, My Assignments, and Settings pages
• Lets you manage Current Raid, imported rosters, Raid Builder setups, and Saved Raid Teams
• Supports boss maps, general raid assignments, trash assignments, raid chat announcements, and live addon sync
• Includes Request Sync, raid leader lock controls, and a separate My Assignments popup
• Works with the default WoW Classic UI and does not replace the base game systems

Features

Home Workspace

• Home page with Current Raid, Imported, Raid Builder, and Saved Raid Teams roster sources
• Save reusable raid team snapshots with roster layouts, map placements, and assignments
• Load a saved team into Raid Builder or load only its assignments onto the current raid

Raid Planning

Assignment Tools

• Roster-based assignment dropdowns for supported encounters
• Encounter-specific layouts for tanks, healers, interrupts, dispels, utility roles, cube clickers, and other fight mechanics
• General raid utility coverage, including dedicated Innervate and Fear Ward sections where supported
• Auto-fill support for assignment fields using the current raid roster
• Favorite, hide, collapse, and expand assignment blocks to focus on the sections you care about
• Reset options for clearing and rebuilding assignments

Communication and Sync

• Announces the currently selected boss assignments to raid chat
• Live addon sync for boss assignments, general raid assignments, and boss maps
• Request Sync lets non-authority players pull the latest plan from the current sync authority
• Raid leader lock can restrict current raid editing and addon pushes, with optional raid assistant permission
• Group version checking warns when another group member is running a newer Easy Assignments version

Personal Tools

• Separate My Assignments popup for the current character
• Optional raid and boss dropdowns, current-raid-only mode, in-instance-only mode, and window lock settings
• Adjustable popup transparency plus custom highlight colors for boss names, player names, and abilities
• Automatic boss kill detection advances the popup to the next relevant boss

Why use Easy Assignments?

The default game gives you chat, raid markers, and your roster, but it does not give you a central place to plan encounter setups visually or keep reusable plans tied to your raid teams. Easy Assignments adds that missing layer by combining maps, assignments, saved raid teams, sync tools, and personal assignment tracking in one addon.

It is useful if you want to:

• Build raid compositions before invites go out
• Plan boss positioning and responsibilities before the pull
• Assign tanks, healers, interrupts, raid utility, and special mechanics faster
• Save different setups for each encounter and reuse them later
• Keep current raid planning separate from Raid Builder and saved team snapshots
• Announce assignments without typing everything by hand
• Sync the same plan and boss map with the rest of your team
• Give every raider a cleaner My Assignments view of just their jobs

Notes

• Assignments are populated from your current party or raid roster when available, but the addon also supports imported and planned rosters for prep outside the raid
• Saved plans are stored per boss, and saved raid teams can keep their own raid-specific assignment and map states
• This addon is for planning and coordination only
• It does not automate gameplay or encounter mechanics
