• When you destroy a valuable item, the game asks you to type DELETE. Delete Assist types it for you (in your game's language), puts the cursor at the end and highlights Yes.
• Safety promise: Delete Assist never confirms on its own. Nothing is destroyed until you press Yes or Enter yourself.
• Everyday items: on the simple "Do you want to destroy …?" popup (Yes/No, no text box), Enter or numpad Enter now presses Yes, like clicking it. Not in combat (the game doesn't allow it then) and never while you're typing in chat (option, on by default).
• Works for quest items too (Retail and Forever have a separate popup for them; you can turn this off).
• Hold Shift while you drop the item to type the word yourself (option, off by default).
• Shows the item you're destroying, with its icon and stack size, under the popup when the popup doesn't already show it (option, on by default).
• Optional small note under the popup: "Filled in by Delete Assist" (off by default).
• Settings in Options > AddOns > Delete Assist, /deleteassist or /dassist, and an Addon Compartment entry on Retail and Forever. Nothing is printed in chat.
