How to Use
CooldownCursor works automatically once installed. When a spell goes on cooldown, its icon appears at your mouse cursor and follows your movement, allowing you to see the remaining cooldown time at a glance.
⚠️ Important: You must add spells to the Spell Rules menu for them to be tracked. Only spells added to the Spell Rules list will appear on your cursor.
By default, CooldownCursor shows multiple icons stacked horizontally (HORIZONTAL mode). You can change the display mode in settings to:
- SINGLE – Show one icon at a time
- VERTICAL – Stack icons vertically
- HORIZONTAL – Stack icons horizontally
- RADIUS – Arrange icons in a circular layout around the cursor
Settings Overview
CooldownCursor includes two levels of configuration:
Global Settings
Global settings control how the addon behaves overall. This includes display mode, layout behaviour, and other general visual or functional options.
These settings apply to all tracked spells.
Spell Rules (Per-Spell Settings)
The Spell Rules system allows you to manage individual spells separately from the global configuration.
To track a spell, you must first add it to the Spell Rules list in the settings menu.
You can:
- Set a priority value to control display order
- Add spells manually to the Spell Rules list
- Enable or disable specific spells
- Change spell icon sizes
Currently, the available per-spell options are:
- Priority
- Enable / Disable
- Icon Size
Spells with a higher priority will be displayed first at the cursor when multiple cooldowns are active.
More per-spell configuration options are planned and will be added in future updates.
