It doesn’t change what information you see. It changes how it is presented.

Q: My Cooldown Manager disappeared in combat!!?

A: It is mostly because of Blizzard throwing random error, but there are some AddOns that can cause CDM taint and to CDM to disappear, disable them for now. So far users have reported issues while playing with:

• NoAutoClose
• BugGrabber (?!)
