CDNow - Cooldown Alignment Tracker

Tracks your passive buffs and procs in real time and shows a single alignment bar so you know the perfect moment to pop your cooldowns.

How It Works

CDNow monitors every passive proc and external buff you care about — weapon enchants, trinkets, Heroism/Bloodlust, Drums, class procs like Flurry — and combines them into one alignment percentage. When that number is high, your buffs have lined up and it's time to use your cooldowns.

• 0% — Nothing is active.
• 100% — Every tracked buff is up at full duration and full stacks. Go.

The bar color shifts from red → orange → yellow → green as alignment climbs, so you can read the situation at a glance even in the middle of a pull.

• Configurable weight system (1–10) — assign higher weight to stronger buffs so the bar reflects their true impact
• Stack and instance tracking — correctly handles multi-stack buffs (e.g. Flurry) and multi-instance buffs (e.g. Mongoose on MH + OH)
• Time-weighted decay — alignment drops in real time as buffs fade, not just when they expire
• Threshold alert — visual glow pulse and optional sound when alignment crosses your chosen threshold
• Presets — built-in class defaults for Rogue and Warrior; save and load your own custom presets
• Full config panel (/cdnow) — add/remove buffs by spell ID, adjust weights, set max stacks and instances, toggle options
• Scalable & movable — drag the bar anywhere, lock it in place, adjust scale from 50% to 200%
• Show/hide out of combat — bar auto-shows in combat; optionally keep it visible outside combat too
• Tooltips on buff icons — hover to see spell or item tooltips (toggleable)

Slash Commands

Quick Start

1. Install the addon and log in.
2. The bar appears automatically when you enter combat (if tracked buffs have been configured).
3. Type /cdnow to open the config — your class defaults are loaded on first use.
4. Adjust weights to match your gear and priorities, add or remove buffs by spell ID.
5. When the bar turns green and glows — pop your cooldowns.
