CC Alert

Lightweight, on-screen alerts for important crowd-control casts.
CC Alert shows a clear, central icon and optional sound whenever a tracked CC begins casting—so you can stop it, pre-wall, or call it out fast.

Core features

• Instant visual alert: Big, centered spell icon with a standard Blizzard overlay glow.

• Curated default list (locked): Common, high-impact CCs are always active and shown grayed out in the list, so you can’t accidentally remove them.

• Your custom list on top: Add any spell IDs you want. Non-default entries can be freely added/removed without touching the locked defaults.

• Optional sound cue: Play a short audio ping when an alert triggers (toggle in options).

• Simple sizing & placement: Drag to position; adjust icon size with a slider. Overlay glow auto-updates with size changes.

• Zero clutter UI: Clean options panel with a live preview of the spells being tracked.

Smart behavior

• Event-driven: Uses Blizzard cast events for responsiveness with minimal overhead.

• Always in sync: The alert’s overlay glow follows your size/scale changes automatically.

• Safe defaults: Defaults are merged into your list on load and when saving, so you never lose the essentials.

Configuration

• Open options:

• Spells tab:

  • Locked defaults appear grayed in the preview.

  • Add your own spell IDs (one per line).

  • Click Save—your list is merged with the defaults.

• Display tab:

  • Drag the icon where you want it.

  • Adjust size and toggle sound/glow.
