Warehouse updates and some Quest profession work - Warehouse updates and some Quest profession work
Tries to account for all patches recently but may have missed one so check before accepting push...
Professions and Warehouse- Restored the recipe-recording path reported broken in the earlier project status summary. Opening your own profession window now schedules RecordProfession(); modern recipe APIs and Classic-family fallbacks are present.
- Added expansion and skill-line recipe tracking, safer handling of incomplete or filtered scans, quality-aware outputs, and saved-data migration.
- Added grouped profession display, saved ranks, broader recipe search, and quality-output tooltips.
- Carried forward Warehouse Phases 4–6: shared Account/Warband Bank counts once, scan timestamps, inventory and UI hotfixes, and guards for missing client data.
Core Compatibility Phases 1 and 2 - Phase 1 added shared compatibility wrappers for item, container, spell, aura, unit, quest, and secret-value access.
- Phase 2 moved quest-log callers to those wrappers, centralized live quest IDs, retained Classic fallbacks and the Quest Watch atlas fix.
- The later core patch adds objective-capture safety, Forever player-name handling, map nil guards, and a missing-quest guard. All 38 files from that patch are retained in this release.
What is working, and what remains open
Verified in this build: the profession event-to-recorder code path is active; the patch files are present; 41 affected Lua files passed syntax checks; focused quest-capture and player-identity checks passed; and the changed-files ZIP reproduces the full package.
Not yet confirmed in game: recipe capture and persistence across reloads, filtered scans, quality outputs, Classic profession fallbacks, bank and guild-bank timing, quest tracking, and taint behavior. The earlier “profession recipes are not recorded” finding is addressed in code, but a live client test is needed before calling it fixed in use. A character whose profession has never been opened may still show “No data — open [profession] window.”
Deferred work: remaining quest watch/add/remove and IsUnitOnQuest shims, tracker protected-frame/Edit Mode hardening, and the dedicated map API migration. I found no confirmed new in-game failure in this release; its runtime status remains pending validation.
