Buffer

Buffer informs you with all the buffs possible for your party to cast; and with this data, detects which buffs from the pool of possibilities are currently missing in any member of your party, showing you these buffs for you to cast them and keep your party buffed. Buffer is implemented for WoW Classic, although it might partially work for Retail and other versions.

Basic functionality

The AddOn distinguishes between the different types of buffs available in the game; for example, self-casted ones which are only available for that single player, such as Demon Armor for Warlocks or Mage Armor for Mages. This way, the algorythm considers these behaviors and displays these spells as "missing" only for the eligible players; in other words, Mage Armor would not appear as missing for a Warrior. Likewise, situational buffs such as Unending Breath or Water Walking are outright ignored. Lastly, the AddOn also takes into account not showing buffs that can't be cast more than once in a player; for example, Paladin's blessings are ignored in a player if he or she already has a blessing active (per Paladin). All these considerations look for not oversaturating the User Interface with a large amount of buffs that are not always needed (or permitted).

Commands

The available commands that the Addon provides are the following:

• (/buffer or /bfr): toggles the user interface.
• (/buffermapbtn): toggles the minimap button.
• (/bufferhelp): shows on the chat all the available commands.
