Borders is a lightweight, high-performance UI enhancement designed to frame your gameplay with sleek, modern aesthetics. It provides independently customizable bars on all four screen edges, allowing you to create anything from subtle vignettes to bold, cinematic letterboxing. With a focus on a minimal footprint and a native-feeling interface, Borders helps you define your play space without cluttering your UI.
The addon features a powerful Situations system, allowing you to define completely different visual profiles for "Out of Combat" and "In Combat" states. Whether you want thick cinematic bars to disappear when a fight starts to maximize visibility, or you want a red "Two-Color" pulse to frame your screen during combat, the transitions are handled automatically with a suite of smooth animation styles including Fades, Slides, and Overshoot effects.
Configuration is handled through a streamlined, dual-column interface accessible via /borders. Each side can be independently tuned for thickness (5px to 500px), opacity, and color. The advanced gradient engine supports nine distinct modes—ranging from simple fades to sophisticated two-color horizontal and vertical transitions—giving you total control over the lighting and mood of your screen edges.
Managing your designs is effortless with the integrated Profile System. You can save, delete, and switch between custom configurations, or choose from built-in presets like "Cinematic" and "Vignette." For those who play on multiple characters, the "Account-Wide" toggle ensures your carefully crafted look follows you across your entire roster without manual setup.
Sharing your creations is simple with the ability to export and import entire profiles—including combat states and colors. Simply copy the string, share it with a friend, and they can import your exact look in seconds.
