A quality of life overhaul for the quest and activity tracker. Offers a more compact experience and the ability to filter quests based on the current zone.

Description

This addon started with a simple goal: allow the quest/activity tracker to be filtered based on wether a quest had an objective in the current zone.

But it turned out to be easier to just write an entirely new quest/activity tracker, so I also added a few other quality of life features:

  • Quests and activities are grouped by categories such as campaign, important, recurring, crafting, etc.
  • Everything can be collapsed to save on clutter. Even the quest tracker itself can be collapsed.
  • Each quest has a progress bar that is visible even in space saving mode that gives you a quick visual indicator of your progress.
  • You can pin certain categories suchs as campaign and achievements so that you don't loose track of them even when filtering.
  • And most importantly you can filter the visible quests down to just those that have an objective in current zone. This updates dynamically as you move between zones.

The new quest/activity tracker can be moved around and its maximum height can be adjusted. It can be used either alongside the Blizzard quest tracker, or you can turn the Blizzard tracker off (default).

It supports all quest and activity types (including achievements, recipies, endeavours, and adventure journal). It DOES NOT attempt to replace the scenario/dungeon (M+) tracker.

I am an old man who doesn't really have the time or energy to maintain an addon, but if you raise any issues I will do my best to fix them. The source code is also available on GitHub if you would like to create your own version:

I have done my best to test every scenario I can think of, but there are probably a few edge cases that I missed.
