WoW simplified for groups with new and older players.
Playing WoW with friends who are new or haven't played in years? Boomer Mode makes it painless. Group members don't need to configure anything — every feature works automatically. Leaders get a dashboard to keep everyone on the same page.
What It Does
Automatic for Everyone
Quest Navigation Arrow — Always points to your active quest objective. Searches across floors and zones. Uses TomTom if you have it, otherwise uses Blizzard's native waypoint.
Quest Alerts — Big on-screen notifications when you accept or complete quests so nothing gets lost in the chat log.
Gear Advisor — Hover over any item and instantly see "Upgrade +12 ilvl" or "Downgrade -8 ilvl" right on the tooltip. Handles rings, trinkets, and 2H weapons correctly.
Durability Warnings — Alerts when your gear drops below 20% or breaks. No more wondering why you do no damage.
Bag Scanner — Tells you when you have an upgrade sitting in your bags that you forgot to equip.
Loot Reminder — Audio + visual reminder every time the loot window opens. Never walk away from drops.
Active Quest Sync — The whole group automatically tracks the same quest as the leader.
Leader Dashboard (/bm)
Group Overview — See every member's current quest, zone, item level, durability, and campaign progress in one resizable panel.
Broadcast Waypoints — Send your location to everyone's navigation arrow with one click.
Campaign Tracker — Auto-detects your story quests and flags members who are missing them.
Getting Started
- Install the addon. That's it.
- If you're a group member: everything works automatically.
- If you're the group leader: type
/bmto open the dashboard.
Optional: Install TomTom for a richer arrow.
