BG Announcer A lightweight utility providing one-click, automated chat announcements for incoming enemies and objective status so you can focus on the fight.
Features & Usage
One-Click Callouts: Click any number (1-5+) or status button (Safe, Help, Inc, EFC) to instantly broadcast your alert to the appropriate channel (Say, Party, Raid, or Instance chat).
Visibility Toggle: Type /bga to show or hide the main interface.
Settings Menu: Right-click anywhere on the background of the addon window to open the settings menu.
Window Lock: Select "Lock Window" in the settings menu to secure the frame's position on your screen.
Adjustable Opacity: Use the slider in the settings menu to scale the transparency of the entire interface to fit your UI.
Important Note Regarding Combat To bypass Blizzard's anti-spam and combat lockdown restrictions and prevent UI errors, this addon updates your map subzone strictly while you are out of combat. If you move between PvP objectives while actively engaged in a fight, the addon will continue to broadcast the location of where you originally entered combat. Your location will instantly update when you drop combat. For example: In Arathi Basin, if you enter combat at the Lumber Mill and run to the Farm without dropping combat, the addon will continue to broadcast your location as the Lumber Mill until combat ends.
