BetterTransmog

BetterTransmog is a World of Warcraft addon that enhances the Transmogrification and Collections UI with movable, resizable frames, dynamic grid layouts, and additional customization options. Reworked for the new transmog system in midnight, it provides a more flexible and immersive transmog experience!

• Movable Transmog Frame: Drag the frame to reposition it anywhere on screen; position is remembered across sessions
• Resizable Transmog & Collections Frame: Drag the resize handle to adjust the window size; size is remembered across sessions
• Separate Size/Position Saving: Distinct layouts saved for Outfit Swap and Regular modes
• Outfit Swapping Mode: Swap outfits anywhere with a dedicated, expandable outfit preview

• Dynamic Model Grid: Automatically calculates optimal grid layout with new rows and columns based on your frame size for the Items, Sets, and Custom Sets pages

• Enhanced Camera Controls: Zoom in and out further in the character preview for better inspection
• Collapsible Outfit Menu: Collapse and expand the outfit menu for a cleaner interface
• Improved Changelog Panel: More readable with smoother interactions
• Improved Slash Commands: Aliases and organized commands (e.g., /bt, /bt outfits, /bt settings)

Usage

1. Open the Transmogrification window
2. Drag the frame title to move it to your preferred position
3. Drag the bottom-right resize handle to adjust the frame size
4. Models will automatically reposition into a new grid layout with updated rows and columns
5. Use Outfit Swapping Mode to quickly switch between saved outfits
6. Adjust settings for your preferred viewing experience

Configuration

Options can be adjusted in the addon settings: Open Options → Addons → BetterTransmog

Settings are saved automatically per Account. Your grid layout will automatically recalculate based on your chosen values and current frame size.

Compatibility

⚠️ Compatibility with other transmog addons has not been tested. If you encounter issues when using BetterTransmog alongside other transmog-related addons, please let me know! If you'd like compatibility with a specific addon, feel free to request it.
