Battle Ready

A World of Warcraft addon that provides quality-of-life features for PvP.

Features

1. Auto-Release

Automatically releases your spirit when you die in battlegrounds or arenas. Saves you a click and gets you back into the fight faster.

2. Gear Warning

Alerts you when entering PvP without PvP trinkets, or entering PvE with PvP trinkets equipped. Shows a prominent "PVP GEAR" warning until you swap trinkets.

3. Mercenary Mode Warning

Displays a prominent warning above the scoreboard when you're playing as a mercenary (fighting for the opposite faction).

4. PvP Tab Targeting

Automatically switches Tab targeting between enemy players (in PvP) and all enemies (outside PvP).

5. Damage Meter Reset

Automatically resets the built-in damage meters when entering a battleground or arena, giving you fresh stats for each match.

Commands

• /battleready or /br - Show all commands and current settings
• /battleready options - Open settings panel
• /battleready test - Test all features (shows warnings, prints status)
• /battleready release - Toggle auto-release (default: ON)
• /battleready trinket - Toggle gear warning (default: ON)
• /battleready merc - Toggle mercenary warning (default: ON)
• /battleready tab - Toggle PvP tab targeting (default: ON)
• /battleready meter - Toggle auto-reset damage meters (default: ON)
• /battleready reset - Reset damage meters now

Settings

Access settings via:

• Game Menu → Options → AddOns → Battle Ready
• /br options

Installation

1. Copy the BattleReady folder to your WoW AddOns directory:
   • Windows: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\
   • macOS: /Applications/World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/
2. Restart WoW or /reload
