Azeroth Index
Azeroth Index adds a search bar directly to your World Map, letting you instantly jump to any zone, dungeon, raid, or delve across every WoW expansion.
No extra windows. No minimap button. No slash commands. Just open your map and start typing.
Search the Entire Game
Type any location and results appear instantly. The addon indexes:
- Zones
- Dungeons
- Raids
- Delves
Coverage spans Classic → The War Within (and Midnight).
Clean, Integrated UI
The search bar sits bottom-center of the World Map and appears when the map is open.
- No UI clutter
- No additional panels
- Fully embedded into the default map
- Placeholder: "Search zones, dungeons, raids..."
Smart Search Ranking
Results are ordered by relevance:
- Exact name match
- Name starts with query
- Name contains query
- Category match (e.g. typing "raid" shows all raids)
- Up to 200 indexed results
- 10 visible rows at a time
- Mouse wheel + keyboard scrolling supported
Result Rows
Each result includes:
- Location name
- Expansion icon
- Colour-coded category badge
- Zone (green)
- Dungeon (orange)
- Raid (red)
- Delve (cyan)
- Pin button — navigates to entrance and activates the map pin
- Arrow button — opens the interior map directly
Clicking a row navigates the World Map instantly.
Keyboard Support
- Up / Down — navigate results (wraps around)
- Enter — jump to selected result
- Escape — clear search and close dropdown
