AutoRoleSwap
AutoRoleSwap is a World of Warcraft addon designed for WoW Classic Anniversary (TBC). It automatically remembers and applies your chosen role (Tank, Healer, or Damage) based on your current specialization. No more manual role changes every time you swap talents or join a group!
✨ Features
- 🔄 Automatic Role Swapping: The addon detects your specialization changes and instantly applies the last role you selected for that spec.
- 🔒 Role Locking: A lock feature prevents unwanted role changes (e.g., from LFG overrides).
- 🖱️ Minimap Button: A convenient button to toggle the lock with a single click and see the current status at a glance.
- 🌍 Multi-Language Support: Supports many languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and more. Note: Translations have not been fully tested; please feel free to open an issue if you encounter any bugs.
- 🤝 LFG Integration: Smart sync with the roles selected in the Group Finder tool.
🚀 Usage
Slash Commands
You can use the following command in the chat:
/ars lock: Toggles the role lock for your current specialization.
Minimap Button
- Left-Click: Toggle between Locked (lock icon) and Unlocked (key icon).
- Hold Left-Click: Drag the icon around the minimap edge.
🛠️ Installation
- Download the addon archive.
- Extract the
AutoRoleSwapfolder into your World of WarcraftInterface\AddOnsdirectory. - Restart the game or reload the UI with
/reload.
