Description
Augur is an English voice pack for the Chinese boss mod ExBoss by EXWIND. Install it alongside ExBoss and the audio plays in English. Settings, timer bars, and menus stay in Chinese (use a separate translation if you want those too).
82 voice clips cover the standard ExBoss alerts: AoE, Interrupt, Spread, Stack, Tank Buster, Soak, Dispel, countdown 5 to 1, and the rest. Voices are from the Causese sound set.
You don't need to change any settings. The pack registers itself in two places at once: it shows up as "Causese (English)" in the ExBoss voice-pack dropdown if you want to pick it explicitly, and it also overrides the default EXWIND Chinese pack at the audio layer. Either way, you hear English.
Install
- Install ExBoss first (it's the actual boss mod, hosted at NGA / Bilibili).
- Drop the Augur folder into Interface/AddOns/.
- Reload. You should see "Augur ready" in chat.
- Pull a boss. Audio plays in English.
Notes
- Requires ExBoss installed. Augur is a voice pack, not a standalone mod.
- Works on retail (Interface 120005, 120001).
- 1.5 MB. Single Lua file plus 202 OGG clips. No dependencies beyond ExBoss.
