A Modern All-in-One Control Center for MoP Classic

AnouCore 2.0 is the result of a complete redesign and technical overhaul of the original AnouCore addon.
What started as a heavy, historically grown tool with a layout from another era has evolved into a clean, modular, and performance-focused control center for Mists of Pandaria Classic.

The goal of AnouCore has always been simple but ambitious:

Centralize raid management, character information, loot tracking, and simulation workflows into a single, consistent interface — without bloating performance or fragmenting functionality across dozens of addons.

With version 2.0, that goal has finally been fully realized.

🎨 Complete layout rework

One of the biggest changes in AnouCore 2.0 is the full layout rebuild.

The old 1.0 version relied on multiple standalone frames, legacy UI concepts, and overlapping windows.
It worked, but it was heavy, fragmented, and visually outdated, with a lot of internal technical baggage.

AnouCore 2.0 introduces a single unified window:

• Persistent left navigation menu
• Dynamic right content area for all modules
• Consistent visual language across the entire addon

The entire window is fully resizable from the bottom-right corner.
All content dynamically adapts to the window size, making AnouCore usable on everything from small monitors to ultrawide raid setups.

This layout is not only cleaner visually — it also simplifies internal logic, reduces frame duplication, and makes future extensions significantly easier.

🛠️ Massive technical cleanup and performance improvements

AnouCore 2.0 is not just a visual update.
Under the hood, it is essentially a new addon.

During the rewrite, nearly 100 legacy files were completely removed.
Old embedded textures, duplicated assets, and outdated logic were replaced by modern WoW API solutions.

Key improvements:

• Replacement of custom class and spec assets with native WoW API calls
• Removal of unused media files and legacy development leftovers
• Event-based handlers instead of permanent background scans
• Clear separation between UI rendering, data tracking, and export logic

The result is a significantly lighter addon, with lower memory usage, fewer event hooks, and much better long-term maintainability.

AnouCore 2.0 integrates three well-known addons in optimized light versions, preserving full functionality while reducing unnecessary overhead.

All original licenses are fully included, documented, and respected.

All exports are optimized for direct import, without manual cleanup.

AnouCore is a passion project built over countless hours of discussion, planning, testing, iteration, and refinement.

This addon is dedicated to Kuron.

AnouCore was his idea.
The vision, the direction, and many of the concepts behind this addon were born from our shared discussions and plans. I continued and implemented this project based on that vision.

Sadly, Kuron passed away before AnouCore 1.0 and 2.0 could be released.
This release happened later than intended — but it exists because of him.

AnouCore 2.0 stands as the realization of that idea, released in his memory.
