What's new

Animated Blizzard Portraits 1.2.19

Fixes and improvements

  • Fix secret-value errors when inspecting portrait textures, and native texture-handler conflicts when changing targets.
  • Improve dungeon fallback behavior when Blizzard restricts animated models. Preserve configured positioning, shape and supported appearance settings.
  • Fix Name Highlight controls, including Transparent, Default, Class Color and Custom. Lower target/focus name and level slightly and separate them from Dead/Unconscious text.
  • Restore configurable HP/resource borders with both Circle and Square portraits.
  • Add round portrait borders with color and thickness controls for animated and static portraits.
  • Separate Hide Rested Indicator (ZZZ) and Hide Status Glow (ring), so either can be shown independently. Hide the ring with a dedicated mask that survives native opacity updates.
  • Correct color-picker transparency, lingering gradients when switching to Solid, and fresh-install/reset defaults.
  • Improve safe frame discovery and fall back to native class resources when custom values are restricted.

Known limitations

Blizzard may restrict animated enemy portraits in dungeons and other instanced content. A static portrait is used in that case. Its baked background cannot be removed with the separate background control, and 3D zoom/full-body/animation options are unavailable on that image. Circle provides circular background and border artwork, but does not truly clip the animated 3D model to a circle.

After updating, use /reload outside combat. Existing settings are retained.
