AiB - All into Boss Edition

Description

A fully-featured Deathroll dice game addon for World of Warcraft, built in the style of the AiB - All into Boss Raidtools UI. Players take turns rolling dice until someone hits 1 - that player loses and pays the gold bet. Supports duel (1v1) and multi-player splitpot modes with full addon-channel communication (no chat spam).

Installation

  1. Copy the AiBDeathRoll folder into World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/
  2. Start the game or type /reload
  3. Type /dr to open

How to Play

Hosting a Game

  1. Enter Start Value / Bet — this value is both the dice start value and the gold bet
  2. Choose Mode:
    • DUEL — 2 players, game starts automatically when the second player joins
    • MULTI — 3+ players, host clicks START when everyone is ready
  3. Click GAME HOST
  4. Invite players:
    • Group / Raid — members appear as clickable buttons directly in the setup area
    • All Invite — sends invitations to the entire group at once
    • Guild / Search — [ List ] button opens the player picker with Party/Raid/Guild tabs and live search
    • Manual — enter a player name and click + Invite
  5. DUEL: starts automatically 2 seconds after opponent accepts MULTI: click START when all players have joined

Joining a Game

  • A popup appears automatically when someone hosts a game
  • Click Accept or Decline
  • With Auto-Decline enabled, invitations are silently rejected

Rolling

  • When it's your turn, the [ ROLL! ] button lights up
  • Whoever rolls a 1 loses
  • Everyone sees the log in real time — no chat spam!

Gold & Splitpot

  • The bet equals the start value
  • Duel: Loser pays the full amount to the winner
  • Multi: Loser pays the full amount, winners split the pot evenly
    • Example: 4 players, 9000g bet → loser pays 9000g → 3 winners receive 3000g each
    • Amounts are always rounded down to whole gold values

Communication (No Chat Spam!)

The addon uses addon messages (PARTY/RAID/WHISPER), completely invisible in normal chat.

  • Every message is whispered to all players in the game list (guaranteed delivery)
  • Additionally broadcasts to group channel when in Party/Raid
  • Duplicate message protection prevents double processing

Statistics

  • Automatically saved locally (SavedVariables: AiBDeathRollDB)
  • Automatic bulk sync when opening the window and when joining a group
  • All addon users in the group exchange stats automatically
  • Columns: Player / Wins / Losses / Balance (Gold) / Total Games
  • Gold value shows cumulative balance across all sessions

Player Picker

  • Opens to the right of the main window via the [ List ] button
  • 3 tabs: Party / Raid / Guild
  • Live search field for filtering
  • Guild shows online members only
  • Already invited players are highlighted in green

Settings

  • Sounds ON/OFF — enable or disable all game sounds
  • Auto-Decline ON/OFF — automatically and silently reject incoming invitations
  • Chat-Filter ON/OFF — hides DeathRoll share messages from other players in your chat

Share Victory

After winning, a [ Share ] button appears in the status bar. Click it to open a channel selection popup:

  • Guild — posts to guild chat
  • Raid — posts to raid chat
  • Party — posts to party chat

Example messages:

  • Duel: [AiB DeathRoll] Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Ich habe 9000g beim Deathroll gewonnen! GG Jgglewings!

With Chat-Filter enabled, these messages from other players are automatically hidden in your chat.

Spieler wuerfeln abwechselnd bis jemand eine 1 trifft — dieser Spieler verliert und zahlt den Gold-Einsatz. Unterstuetzt Duell (1v1) und Multiplayer-Splitpot-Modi mit vollstaendiger Addon-Kanal-Kommunikation (kein Chat-Spam).

Installation

  2. Spiel starten oder /reload eingeben

Spielablauf

Spiel hosten

  1. Startwert / Einsatz eintragen — dieser Wert ist gleichzeitig Wuerfel-Startwert und Gold-Einsatz
  2. Modus waehlen:
    • DUELL — 2 Spieler, Spiel startet automatisch sobald der zweite Spieler beitritt
    • MULTI — 3+ Spieler, Host klickt manuell auf STARTEN wenn alle bereit sind
  3. SPIEL HOSTEN klicken
  4. Spieler einladen:
    • Gruppe / Raid — Mitglieder erscheinen direkt im Setup als klickbare Buttons
    • Alle einladen — sendet Einladungen an die gesamte Gruppe auf einmal
    • Gilde / Suche — ueber [ Liste ] oeffnet sich der Spieler-Picker mit Party/Raid/Gilde-Tabs und Live-Suche
    • Manuell — Spielernamen eingeben und + Einladen klicken
  5. Bei DUELL: startet automatisch nach 2 Sekunden wenn Gegner annimmt Bei MULTI: STARTEN klicken wenn alle beigetreten sind

Einer Einladung beitreten

  • Popup erscheint automatisch wenn jemand ein Spiel hostet
  • Annehmen oder Ablehnen
  • Bei aktiviertem Auto-Decline werden Einladungen lautlos abgelehnt

Wuerfeln

  • Wenn du dran bist, leuchtet der [ WUERFELN! ] Button auf
  • Wer eine 1 wuerfelt, verliert
  • Alle sehen den Log in Echtzeit - ohne Chat-Spam!

Gold & Splitpot

  • Der Einsatz entspricht dem Startwert
  • Duell: Verlierer zahlt den vollen Betrag an den Gewinner
  • Multi: Verlierer zahlt den vollen Betrag, Gewinner teilen sich den Pot gleichmaessig
    • Beispiel: 4 Spieler, 9000g Einsatz -> Verlierer zahlt 9000g -> 3 Gewinner erhalten je 3000g
    • Betraege werden immer auf ganze Goldwerte abgerundet

Kommunikation (kein Chat-Spam!)

Das Addon nutzt Addon-Nachrichten (PARTY/RAID/WHISPER), die komplett unsichtbar im normalen Chat bleiben.

  • Jede Nachricht wird per Whisper an alle Spieler in der Spielerliste gesendet (garantierte Zustellung)
  • Zusaetzlich Gruppen-Broadcast wenn in Party/Raid
  • Doppelempfangs-Schutz verhindert doppelte Verarbeitung

Statistiken

  • Werden automatisch lokal gespeichert (SavedVariables: AiBDeathRollDB)
  • Automatischer Bulk-Sync beim Oeffnen des Fensters und beim Beitreten einer Gruppe
  • Alle Addon-Nutzer in der Gruppe tauschen Stats automatisch aus
  • Spalten: Spieler / Siege / Niederlagen / Bilanz (Gold) / Spiele gesamt
  • Goldwert zeigt die kumulierte Gesamtbilanz ueber alle Spiele

Spieler-Picker

  • Oeffnet sich rechts neben dem Hauptfenster ueber den [ Liste ] Button

Sieg teilen

Nach einem gewonnenen Spiel erscheint ein [ Teilen ] Button in der Statusleiste. Ein Klick oeffnet ein Popup zur Kanalauswahl:

  • Gilde — postet in den Gildenchat
  • Raid — postet in den Raidchat
  • Party — postet in den Partychat

Mit aktiviertem Chat-Filter werden diese Nachrichten anderer Spieler in deinem Chat automatisch ausgeblendet.
