StarNet adds a placeable laptop to Stardew Valley that works like a full in game digital hub. You can buy a laptop or phone from Robin. To use the laptop you need to place it on a table and right click on the laptop to open the starnet menu. For the mobile phone you can carry it around and click it on your player while holding the phone to open the menu. Once powered on, StarNet gives you access to shopping, banking, pet adoption, games, social media, personal notes, and a full marketplace system.
Starnet adds so much realism to the game and makes player's jobs easier and the game more fun!
Starnet is compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded with the latest update.
**How to use starnet?** 🪑
1. Buy the StarNet laptop from Robin.
2. Place it on a table.
3. Right click the laptop to open StarNet.
OR
1.Buy the Starphone from Robin.
2.Carry it around wherever you want.
3.Click on the player while holding the phone to open StarNet.
**Online Delivery** 🛒
The Online Delivery tab lets you order items from different businesses without leaving your house. You can browse shop stock, add items to your cart, and check out directly from the laptop. This includes Pierre’s stock, Gus’s food items, JojaMart items and bakery goods. A delivery guy brings your order in a very short tine!
**Games** 🎮
The Games tab lets you open Stardew Valley’s vanilla arcade games through the laptop instead of adding separate custom minigames. You can launch Journey of the Prairie King and Junimo Kart from here and enjoy the original arcade content from home.
**Pet Adoption** 🐶🐱🐢
The Pet Adoption tab lets you adopt pets through StarNet. You can choose a pet, name it, and bring it into your game through the laptop system. This includes cats, dogs, and turtles. It is made to feel like an online adoption service. The bowl is not provided with the pet so if you want the bowl you can buy it from robin.
**Bank** 💰
The Bank tab includes both a loan system and a savings account system. You can take a loan up to 10000 gold, and pay it back with a 5% interest rate in 10 weeks. Every monday a little amount of money will be automatically deducted from your household funds.
WARNING: The loan system comes with seizure. If you fail to pay your loans back in time, one item from your chest gets seized each day until you have the money to pay your loans.
You can also use the savings account to deposit and withdraw money. The money in your bank account grows 0.1% everyday and you can withdraw it whenever you want. This is a good way to save your money and grow it.
**FarMr** - Social Media (Playable in Co-op)
FarMr is StarNet’s social media app. It works like a farm themed social platform where you can create your profile, set a username, write a bio, make posts, like posts, get notifications, add friends, and send direct messages.
NPCs can post on the feed, react to your posts, and appear in your social system, while co op household players can also interact through likes, friend features, notifications, and DMs. If you like an npc's post it will give you 3 points of friendship. It is meant to feel like a proper in game social app rather than a simple menu.
**Notes** 📖
The Notes tab is a personal notebook app inside the laptop. You can create folders, organize your notes, and keep everything sorted the way you want. It is useful for reminders, plans, crop notes, roleplay ideas, schedules, or anything else you want to keep track of while staying fully in game. You can edit your notes or change the font color too.
**Marketplace** 🧺
The Marketplace tab is a larger trading app with multiple sections inside it.
In every 3 days, npcs put their products on sale for a much cheaper price then the product is actually worth. You can also see how much gold you'll save if you buy the product from a certain npc.
In "My Market" tab, you can name your market, set a bio, and build your own little storefront.
In "My Listings" , you can sell your own made or farm related goods from your inventory and choose how many you want to sell, up to five from a stack, while keeping up to ten active listings at once. You can sell your products with a 0% increase, 10% increase, 50% increase or a 100% increase in price. Normal to mid prices sell easily but an expensive item may take time and luck to sell. Still, you can find the right npc to sell it!
Also, you'll get in game notifications when npcs buy your items or they can just comment on the price of your listing.
You can track your previous listings from the old listings tab or see your current ones.
**Settings** 🎨
If you don't like the colors of the starnet menu you can change the colors from the settings icon. Also you can put the social media and marketplace notification on "do not disturb" from here.
**Co op support** 🤝
Some StarNet features also support co op and household players, especially the more social features like FarMr interactions and messaging.

StarNet is a placeable in game laptop and mobile phone that add a full digital life system to Stardew Valley. Enjoy shopping, banking, pet adoption, social media, notes, and marketplace features all from your farmhouse.
