Serenity Rune

Hello, this is Serenity Rune, a teenage emo girl video game streamer in The Sims 4 who is aspiring to become a metal musician. She is originally from Copperdale.

Serenity Alexandra Rune is a naturally blonde girl who is the daughter of classical musician Steven Rune and the step-daughter of journalist Celia Avon. Growing up as an infant and later a toddler, she initially stated that she wanted to be a classical musician just like her father was. However, her birth mother, educator and painter Alexandra Opal, passed away unexpectedly while she was an infant, which prompted her father Steven to adopt Celia as her caregiver (Steven would eventually remarry to Celia).

Serenity would not recall the death of her birth mother until she became a child, when she started disliking her father's classical music preferences and instead began listening to female fronted metal bands. This change of attitude caused her father and her stepmother to become extremely angry, as they felt that the music Serenity is listening to was inappropriate for her age.

Upon reaching high school, Serenity, who has been notable for being a girly girl who attended numerous birthday parties for her friends, decided to cut her long blonde hair off by herself so that it did not go past the middle of her neck before bleaching her hair so that it would become platinum blonde. She would then use her haircutting razor to create a bang that completely covers her left eye, which would make her an emo girl and giver her the signature hairstyle that she prefers.

While Serenity has had numerous hair colors while she was in high school, her had for changing her hair color every so often came to a halt when she unexpectedly became pregnant after messing around in the rocket ship with her boyfriend while at school, which not only forced her to graduate high school early but also resulted in her getting kicked out of her parents' house, which was adjacent to Lake LaSuli. She ultimately moved in with her boyfriend, whose mother, Bianca Black, was a fashion designer who became a millionaire thanks to her selling numerous outfits on the clothes shopping platform Trendi. The result of Serenity's teenage pregnancy was that she gave birth to a girl named Shiloh, who is Serenity's first daughter. Shortly after she gave birth, she decided to dye her hair jet black, which would become her permanent hair color. She would later age up into a young adult while at prom, and would eventually go on to become a metal musician like she always wanted to, having her second child Ashley later on.

Serenity Rune, who is named after the residential lot named Serenity Falls in the console version of The Sims 2: Pets, lists the metal bands Mute Prophet and Serenity as her main musical influences, as well as Emilia Suhonen (guitarist for The Rasmus), Elize Ryd (lead singer of Amaranthe), and Hayley Williams (lead singer of Paramore), among others.

The full version download includes Serenity Rune herself as a teenager and also her two daughters Shiloh and Ashley, both of which would become emo girls in the same way that their mother Serenity once did. Due to game code limitations, the three girls are listed as household members rather than their usual family relationships. Shiloh and Ashley also have different hairstyles and color schemes than Serenity has: Shiloh is known for having a similar hairstyle to Serenity, but it is colored red and features a longer bang that completely covers her right eye, while Ashley has a spiky layered blue hairstyle with a straight across blunt bang that completely covers both of their eyes.

For Shiloh and Ashley, the same CC requirements are used for Serenity except for the hairstyles, which are both by Raccoonium: the Touka hairstyle is required for Shiloh, while the Intention hairstyle is required for Ashley.
