Sims Own Business is a business simulation mod for The Sims 4 that introduces a structured, office-style work system. 

Instead of running a retail store, your Sim operates a professional business, completing assigned work, managing performance, and progressing through a structured daily workflow.

    Work is generated automatically and assigned each day.

    Work is performed through computer interactions.

    Start and sell your business.
    (Business names are currently auto-generated.)

    Business data is saved and loaded automatically.

⚠️ Current Limitations

  • Sims may route to computers but do not yet fully sit or perform animations
  • Computer interactions are currently functional prototypes
  • Some features are still being expanded and refined

📦 Installation

  1. Download the .zip file
  2. Extract contents
  3. Place files into:
 
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
 

Included Files

  • SimsOwnBusiness.ts4script
  • SimsOwnBusiness_LayerC_Interactions.package

Important

  • Do NOT place files more than one folder deep
  • Enable Script Mods in game settings
  • Restart the game after installing
