Apr 2026_ Recipe _ Qingtuan

Overview

Qingtuan is one of the most representative foods of the Qingming Festival, especially popular in China’s Jiangnan region. Made from mugwort juice and glutinous rice flour, it is traditionally filled with sweet red bean paste or black sesame. Its soft green appearance symbolizes reunion, renewal, and the lively spirit of spring.

Extra Gameplay Detail 🍡

Like the Tangyuan recipe released earlier, Qingtuan also has a chance to trigger a special buff after eating

Because glutinous rice treats can be a little too sticky for the stomach, Sims may occasionally receive:

Sticky Situation ⚠️
The joy of “sticky-sweet” has officially become a “sticky mess”! Your tummy is totally gummed up, and those glutinous squatters have no intention of leaving! That rice-heavy feast was... perhaps a bit too solid. Maybe a cup of Hawthorn & Aged Citrus Peel Tea 🍵 could help loosen things up?

Reason:
From Too Much Sticky Goodness

This buff only appears occasionally.
Some of the herbal drinks coming later this month will have digestive effects and can help remove this negative buff 🍵✨
