FEATURES

Movie Theater Employees
This pack includes 4 different animated deco Sim employees you can place in your theaters. When your Sims click on them, they’ll get the option to buy three base-game snacks: churros, nachos, or a hotdog.

If the deco Sim is placed too far behind a counter, island, or whatever setup you’re using, you might see weird routing or awkward animations. If that happens, just move them a bit closer to the edge and it should smooth things out.

Movie Ticket Kiosk
This pack also includes a movie ticket kiosk, created by repurposing the B&H ticket kiosk into a functioning theater ticket booth. Sims from children through elders can buy their own movie tickets.

Just like real life, not every Sim can buy every ticket. This mod adds a simple rating system:

  • E – Every Plumbob (Children–Elder)
  • T – Tricky Cowplants (Teen–Elder)
  • R – Risky Watching (YA–Elder)

There are two versions of the kiosk: Base Game and City Living. They work the same, but the City Living version cycles through different in-game movie titles on the screen. PICK ONE.

If you don’t have B&H, the interaction should still work, but the buy-ticket animation might not play.

When Sims buy a ticket from the kiosk, they’ll get one of two buffs based on the movie’s genre. Each genre has a positive and a negative buff option, and there’s a higher chance they’ll get the positive one. Some Sims are hyped for the movie, and some… definitely got dragged along.

Additional Notes

This pack includes a file called [CHERISI]MovieTheaterSet_MonolithWallTV_GetFamous.package. I edited the tuning on this TV in an attempt to slightly increase the distance Sims can watch it from.

If you don’t have Get Famous, don’t install this file in your Mods folder.
