Description
- Enables sims to use the in-game Mop interaction to decrease dust accumulation (introduced with Bust the Dust).
While I like Bust the Dust and its dust mechanism, there are situations where purchasing and using a vacuum cleaner is not feasible. Sometimes the household doesn't have enough simoleons, sometimes a member of the household went to work on their 8 hour long shift with the household vacuum in their pocket and I don't want to buy multiple, sometimes it doesn't fit with an off-the-grid lifestyle.
This mod introduces a 'Mop' interaction, similar to the one sims use on puddles, as a way of cleaning the floor. It also tweaks a couple of other features detailed below.
The mod requires XmlInjector. You can get it from the Official In Memoriam Website. The mod will not work without it.
Features: - add the 'Mop' action as a way of reducing dust buildup
- mop spawns out of thin air, same as when mopping up puddles;
- no moodlets from mopping;
- takes a bit longer than vacuuming;
- remove sparkle when floor is clean;
- remove bunny spawning from dusty floor; dust bunnies still spawn on dirty floor and dust fiends still spawn on filthy floor; (dust levels go like this clean > dusty > dirty > filthy)
- remove dust reaction on floor change;
