Description
Hi!
Update: 12/1/25: I added a file for anyone that would like to play with what I have complete so far. Please let me know what you think. I will be working on the other categories tonight :)
I wanted to share an early look at the next social pack, Locked Up Dynamics. These are socials I’ve always wished existed in my own game, so I decided to build it myself and I know I’m not the only Simmer who enjoys deep, dramatic, real-life storytelling! This social pack focuses on what it’s like to have someone you care about incarcerated, told entirely through the people on the outside.
Patreon.com/TheWetBlanket will be where I continue to post WIPs and pics :)

Family of the Incarcerated
This category includes:
-
Charges and accusations
-
Defending their child
-
Blaming others
-
Emotional breakdowns
What’s Coming Next
Friend of the Incarcerated
Conversations where friends react in all kinds of ways — supportive, shocked, judgmental, or a little messy. Some will be kind, some will be blunt, and some will be the type of friend who says, “I’m not surprised.”
Child of the Incarcerated
Story options for children processing separation, fear, and missing a parent, as well as adults privately discussing how the child is coping.
Partner of the Incarcerated
This will be the most detailed category, covering:
-
Release date worries and hopes
-
Financial responsibilities
-
Phone call frustrations
-
Trust issues and jealousy
-
Parenting alone
-
Loneliness, burnout, and resentment
PenPal of the Incarcerated
This section adds a whole different kind of drama for players who enjoy complicated love stories. It includes interactions such as:
-
Explaining how much money they’ve already spent
-
Insisting they aren’t being scammed
-
Claiming the inmate “really loves them”
-
Defending the inmate’s reputation when people say they write multiple partners
-
Talking about visits and first meetings
-
Saying the inmate is being released to their home
-
Plans to marry while incarcerated
-
Plans to marry after release (Good to have options lol)
-
Defending the relationship to skeptical friends and family
This area is meant to capture the same intensity, optimism, and emotional chaos you see in Love After Lockup (I've been watching a lot of this lately), so expect a mix of hope, delusion, loyalty, doubt, and everything in between!
Feedback
If there are specific conversations or situations you’d like to see in the Friend, Child, Partner, or PenPal categories, feel free to share your ideas. I’m still building these sections and would love to hear suggestions. :)
