Description
I have a holiday gift for you :) I had just few days to do it, but I didn't prepare any gift for few other holidays so I really wanted to make this one. I rushed a bit, so some small things might not fully work, but I did my best in this short period of time and I hope you'll like the concept :) For now it requires Seasons EP, but I have a plan to make it BG.
The mod consists of 3 parts:
- New Holiday Tradition (to write a letter to Father Winter)
- Interaction of writing a letter to Father Winter (using Kids Activity Table, it's always available the holiday tradition doesn't need to be active) - it works as a New Year resolution and a chosen gift appears in the Simology panel. There are 25 present categories to choose from! (pic below)
- Opening a present from Father Winter (from present pile) or Asking a Father Winter for a present - which will result in getting what your Sim asked for in the letter

Compatibility
For now, the mod requires Seasons EP to work (I have an idea how to make it base game compatible, but it will require total modification, I didn't have time for it now, if I wanted to release it still before Christmas).
Small issues I noticed
Sometimes "a task" to get a particular gift completes before opening a present from Father Winter, cause the condition is somehow met before (for instance a change is done in the inventory and the object in the inventory counts towards the task). When I will do it base game compatible, I will rewrite it completely and it will not be a problem anymore, but now it uses a system that might be faulty sometimes. Unfortunately, an idea how to do it differently came to me too late :]
If the task doesn't disappear from Simology panel, even if a Sim got a gift they wanted, try to a) drag a gift into Sim inventory one more time b) go to Build/Buy mode for a moment c) go to World view and return d) in the worst scenario, wait a time for a task to "expire" (3 days max) and if it's still there - remove my mod :D that will help in 100% cases :D -> This issue should never happen when getting a present from Father Winter or from present pile, but it happened sometimes when simply other Sim was giving a gift to my Sim.
