Description
This mod is for the Sims who believe in soft love. The kind that feels calm, intentional, and real.
Not every relationship in your game has to start with chaos or drama. Sometimes it starts with a quiet feeling. That moment when a Sim realizes someone might actually be the person they’ve been looking for.
The Man I Need adds romantic storytelling interactions where Sims can open up about those feelings. Talking about being the kind of partner someone prayed for. Asking if the other Sim feels the same connection. Admitting that someone makes everything feel calmer.

You’ll see interactions like:
• “I think he’s the man I need…”
• “You deserve someone gentle. Someone like… me.”
• “Hold my hand… just for a second.”
• “I don’t need perfect. I just need you.”
Along with moodlets like Heart Whisper and Butterflies, these conversations create those soft, emotional moments that make relationships in your game feel more alive.
This mod also includes the Soft Romantic Dreamer trait and The Man She Needs trait for Sims who naturally lean toward gentle love, slow connections, and partners who show up in the small ways.
How to Use the Social Interactions
To access the interactions, your Sim must click directly on the Sim they want to talk to.
Once you click the target Sim, you’ll see the “I Think He's The Man I Need…” interaction menu where the romantic conversations will appear.
These are targeted social interactions, meaning they are meant to be used between two Sims who are building a connection.

⚠️ Important Installation Rule
Each mod comes in two versions:
-
User‑Directed Version
-
Autonomous Version
You must choose ONE version only.
Do NOT place both versions in your Mods folder at the same time.
Having both installed will cause conflicts, missing interactions, or unexpected behavior.
AUTO Version
-
“Auto” means the actions happen autonomously (without you controlling it).
-
Just like how Sims have a mind of their own.
-
So yes, you will usually NOT see pie menus for mods/files that you downloaded that say AUTO. That’s normal.
User Directed Version
-
“User Directed” means the actions are in your control.
-
Mods/files that say User Directed should show pie menus because you’re the one choosing the interactions.
