This stage of life is weird. They want independence but still need supervision.

Description

Mod Haus Family,

If you’ve ever raised a preteen in The Sims, you already know the energy.

This stage of life is weird. They want independence but still need supervision. One minute they’re asking deep questions about life and the next minute they’re arguing about why they can’t stay up past nine.

That’s what this mod is about.

Pre Vs Teen brings those everyday preteen moments into your game through conversations between preteens, their friends, and their parents. The small, slightly dramatic, very real things that happen during that in-between phase of growing up.

Parents get their side of the story too. The constant balancing act between giving freedom and reminding them they still have chores to do. The confusion. The eye rolling. The “why does your room smell like a locker room?” moments.

These kinds of interactions matter for storytelling. Not every moment in life is huge drama.

If you enjoy having more conversations like this for younger Sims, let me know. I’m always looking at ways to expand these age stages so they feel more alive in game.

For now, welcome to the chaos of raising a preteen.
