Introducing "Tumbling Tots Co.", a Sims 4 Active Daycare Career! I've always wanted my sims to be able to work at a daycare in the Sims 4 because this was an option in the Sims 3. I made a version that was semi-active but decided to just go for it and make a full-blown active career!
How does it work?
The Daycare Teacher career works like any other Get-To-Work career. When it's time for your sim to go to work the game will give you the option to follow them to the daycare center venue and actually help your sim through the workday.
Daycare Venue?
Yes, you heard me correctly, a daycare venue! I've created a custom venue type and this venue allows your sim to actively go to work at the daycare. Your sims can also visit the venue with your own toddlers even if they aren't in the daycare career. This is a perfect way for toddlers to socialize and make new friends! You can make any lot a daycare by changing the venue type to 'Daycare". To follow your sim to work, you MUST place down a daycare lot set as the daycare venue type.

At-Home Daycare Career
I've created an Active At-Home Daycare Career that functions like a Get-To-Work Career, but from home. This career is modeled after the Daycare Profession from The Sims 3!
How does it work?
Your workday starts at 9 am when the children are dropped off and ends at 7 pm. The amount of toddlers/children you have depends on your level in the career. You also get paid 120 simoleons per day per child (payment also depends on your rating: you get a bonus for gold rating, and less money for a low rating)! Each week you also get a stipend depending on your level in the career.
- Level 1. Amateur Babysitter: 2 toddlers. Weekly Stipend. $100*
- Level 2. Cool Care-Giver: 2 toddlers, 1 infant. Weekly Stipend = $200*
- Level 3. Daycare Dynamo: 3 toddlers, 1 infant. Weekly Stipend = $300*
- Level 4. Good Guardian: 3 toddlers, 2 infants. Weekly Stipend = $400*
- Level 5. Daycare Specialist: 3 toddlers, 2 infants & 2 school-aged children. Weekly Stipend = $500*

Mod Requirements:
- A Venue List: This is needed for the venue type to be shown in the game. Without a venue list, you won't be able to follow your sim to work. Personally, I am using Basemental's Universal Venue List, but Zerbu's Venue Changes work just as well.
Optional File: "OPTIONAL_NC4T_TumblingTots_HomeRegions_InjectionHook.package"
- Adds compatibility with Kuttoe's Home Regions mod which was preventing infants not living in the same neighborhood as the daycare to spawn. This comes in the form of an optional file called "OPTIONAL_NC4T_TumblingTots_HomeRegions_InjectionHook.package". This file will bypass Home Region rules for daycare students and lets infants from every world attend your daycare. If you do not want this, please delete this file. If you're not using Kuttoe's Home Regions mod yet, go check it out, it's highly recommended.
