This mod adds an interaction to the phone menu that lets your Sim quickly return to their home lot on the spot.
When your Sim is on a lot other than their home, Go Home / Return Home With option appears under the phone’s Travel category. Clicking it opens a confirmation dialog; selecting OK immediately triggers a loading screen and moves your Sim to their home lot.
Update : v2.1 - Fixed a bug where the TravelWith file did not work correctly for players who don't own Cats & Dogs, making the Return Home With interaction unavailable. If Return Home With has been working for you, you can continue using it as-is.
Update : v2 - Added an optional file that lets you bring other Sims on the lot home with your Sim.
Files
There are two files. You can use both together or just one.
bloom_Go_Home_by_Phone
Only the currently selected Sim can be moved.
bloom_Go_Home_by_Phone_TravelWith
You can choose Sims you know on the lot to bring home with you. If you check without selecting anyone, your Sim will go home alone.
Notes
- If your Sim is in the middle of an action, they will move after the current action finishes.
- During a vacation, the Sim will move to the lot where they are staying. Additionally, the displayed interaction name will change depending on the vacation status. However, the interaction name will not change with the TravelWith file.
- Depending on your mod or pack setup, you may need to scroll far down the menu to find the interaction.
This is something I adjusted for public release from a mod that I had been using personally for a long time.
This mod was created using the tuning of the interaction for returning home from Sylvan Glade in the game as a reference.
