No longer do all male Sims in your game have to look like smooth Ken dolls! This mod automatically assigns body hair to all male-identifying Sims aged Young Adult and older, using a mix of real-world averages, traits, and lifestyle cues. The textures used in this mod are ones based on Luumia's Body Hair v5+ and edited further by m0ckest.
Note: You do not need to download any separate files. All required body hair textures are included in this mod.
How It Works
When a male Sim spawns in your world, the mod quietly assigns them one of three hidden body hair traits: Smooth, Light, or Heavy. The assignment is determined by a combination of traits, lifestyle factors, and genetics.
- Grooming & Traits: Sims with traits like Perfectionist or High Maintenance are more likely to be smooth or keep their chest and back shaven. Meanwhile, traits like Lazy or Freegan increase the chances of a Sim having a more natural look. Traits from my Tribes mod and other creators are also taken into account.
- Lifestyle & Genetics: Sims who are bodybuilders or present more femininely will be more likely to be smooth. Sims with straight textured hair and minimal facial hair will be more likely to receive a light body hair pattern. Sims with wavy hair or heavy facial hair will be more likely to receive a heavy body hair pattern.
- Texture & Color Matching: Body hair will automatically match a Sim’s eyebrow color. There are 8 natural shades: Auburn, Black, Blonde, Brown, Dark Brown, Gray, Brown Salt & Pepper, and Black Salt & Pepper. Sims with unnatural hair colors will default to Brown. Sims with afro-textured head hair will also receive afro-textured body hair.
Note: If a Sim already has body hair on a specific area, the mod will NOT automatically replace it or remove it. If you want the mod to replace it, use the new "Reset" cheat interaction. More on that below.
In-Game Controls
Shift-click a Sim to summon the new “Body Hair” cheat menu. From there, you can:
- Reset (male Sims YA+): Reroll a Sim's body hair pattern, useful after tweaking their hair color or traits.
- Remove (any Sim Teen+): Instantly removes a Sim's body hair and prevents the mod from attempting to apply body hair in the future.

- This mod does not directly overwrite any files so it won't conflict with any other mods
- This mod is base game compatible
