This mod began as a simple idea while I was staring at the Romance Styles in CAS. While it started as part of my TS2 Turn-Ons mod (and is fully compatible with it), it quickly took on a life of its own and I decided to release it separately.
What This Mod Does
This mod introduces two new Romance Styles to Lovestruck: Assertive and Passive
😈 Assertive Sims enjoy taking charge in romantic situations.
- Assertive Sims gain a slight boost in Relationship Satisfaction when they initiate Romance interactions.
- Sims with an Assertive Turn-Off feel uncomfortable leading, losing a small amount of Relationship Satisfaction when they take the initiative.
- Assertive Sims gain a slightly higher boost than normal when acting upon a Passive Sim.
😇 Passive Sims prefer when others take the lead.
- Passive Sims gain a small boost in Relationship Satisfaction when another Sim initiates Romance interactions.
- Sims with a Passive Turn-Off dislike being acted upon romantically, losing a small amount of Relationship Satisfaction when others make the first move.
- Passive Sims gain a slightly higher boost than normal when being acted upon by an Assertive Sim.
Dynamic WooHoo Interactions
This mod also includes an optional add-on that replaces the generic "WooHoo" and "WooHoo in" interactions based on the following:
Romance Style
- Assertive Sims can "Take Charge" under specific conditions.
- Passive Sims can "Take Care Of" under specific conditions.
- Two Strictly Assertive Sims (Assertive Turn-On, Passive Turn-Off) can engage in a "Tussle."
- Two Strictly Passive Sims (Passive Turn-On, Assertive Turn-Off) can "Mess Around."
- Two Sims that have both the Passive Turn-On and Assertive Turn-On can "Switch It Up."
Traits
- A Sim's Traits (Lazy, Childish, Mean, etc) can influence their WooHoo interactions.
Skills
- A Sim's Skills (Fitness, Romance) can influence their WooHoo interactions. Most custom WooHoo Text won't unlock until level 3 of the Romance Skill.
- In order to make room for the new interactions, "Suggest Back-to-Back WooHoo" is now more likely to show up when a Sim's partner is in a Flirty mood, rather than by default.
Mood
- A Sim's mood can influence their WooHoo interactions.
Over 30 new WooHoo interactions have been added to the game. All age-appropriate, true to the game’s tone, and translated across EVERY language. Have fun discovering them all!
I took great care in translating the text, but I'm sure the translations are not 100% perfect for every language. If any translations need improvement, don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Compatibility
- The main module of this mod, as well as the add-on, do not directly overwrite any game files so it will not conflict with other mods.
- Requires the Lovestruck Expansion Pack.

This mod includes the file:

This file will conflict with any mod that overrides the following resources:
- loot_Attraction_LearnAboutTarget_RomanceStyles
- randomLoot_Attraction_GiveAttraction_RomanceStyles
- testSet_Attraction_TargetHasRomanceStyleTOTO
My other Romance Style mods also include this same file. You only need one copy of tyjokr_SharedTuning_RomanceStyles in your Mods folder, but having multiple copies will not hurt your game.
