Say one thing about the Sims 3. Say it was the king of life states.
So here we have the Sims 3's Imaginary Friend as a full body costume for adults and children! As well as an Imaginary Friend doll your child sim can talk to.
Taking what I've learned from the Reaper Scuba gear CC I merged the model for the Sims4 head with the Noctis model to create an all-in one outfit containing all the vertex groups I need! So the head isn't a hat!
It's too bad that the face just doesn't translate well into the Sims 4. I mean it's passable. Especially from a distance, it looks alright. But if you get too close you can see where it isn't quite perfect. *sigh* I dunno, guys. I can only do my best. Not all the Sims3 vertex groups correspond to the Sims4 and it seems like some expressions just make the face look weird. Maybe some time in the future I'll take another crack at making the face even better, but or now it's passable and I'll take that as a win.
The doll has special tuning which is derived from the large stuffed animals. I've taken away all actual interactions with it (so you can't hit it or carry it), but your Sim can talk to it. I've made it a generic stuffed animal, so it doesn't show options like "talk about salmon" or anything. I think it does it's job nicely.
Now all someone has to do is make a whole mod for this lifestate and we'll be set
