Depa Billaba
I decided to give this hairstyle a go because I’d already made some braided loops that I liked for Princess Leia’s Bespin hair. I ran into immediate trouble though because I wasn’t able to find any pictures the back of the hairstyle on the actress who played her in the prequels. Instead, I came across the concept art for the characters intended appearance in the Clone Wars series which very helpfully had the angles I needed to figure out the braided loops at the back! I added the little bun to hide where the braids all came together so that bit isn’t entirely accurate but I imagine they would have done something similar for the live-action version so it might be after all!
I also have another version of this hair that is just the full braids without the pulled back section at the front that I’ll try to get out later this week.
I tried to make Depa’s Marks of Illumination as a piercing to release but the one between the eyes is causing me massive problems with its placement because I can’t figure out how to get it to stay joined to the skin. It works with maybe 2 of the presets but is floating with some and completely hidden with others. It was pure luck that I found a Depa Billaba sim on the gallery that only needed a few adjustments to get the Marks visible so I’ve decided to shelve them until I can figure out how to get them to work universally.
