Off-the-Grid Typewriter

Use a typewriter to get some computer functionality off-the-grid.

Description

Intro

A typewriter object that allows Sims to do a lot of computer interactions off-the-grid: most importantly a lot of the writing interactions.

This is an updated version of my mod formerly called Functional Typewriter. It hasn't changed that much honestly, but has been updated for recent packs and restructured behind-the-scenes. The more exciting part of the new version might be the optional file which I'll go into below.

Please delete any old versions to prevent conflicts. As always, feel free to reach out to me on Discord!

MadameRia's Off-the-Grid Typewriter

MadameRia's typewriter has been officially abandoned and isn't being updated for new packs and interactions. By request I've adopted it and rolled it into my mod as an optional file. If MadameRia ever comes back to modding and wants this back I'll gladly remove it from my mod.

This file is optional if you only want my object, but frankly this object is much nicer looking so I recommend it.

  • Requires the MAIN file.
  • Please delete any old versions to prevent conflicts.

  • If you've created your own objects that you want to work with my tuning feel free to use it. I just ask that instead of including my code you please link to my mod as a requirement. If you do this I'd love a link so I can check it out and link back to it!
