Mod Menu 2.0.1
What's new
Mod Menu 2.0.1
A small update to 2.0 for the Quick Panel, the lists and the controller.
New
- Quick Panel sliders: hold the - or + of a pinned slider to keep stepping. A quick click is still one step. Held for 0.4 seconds it starts repeating, about ten steps a second, and after a second and a half more it steps four at a time, so a long slider is crossed in a few seconds. It stops exactly at the minimum or maximum. Moving the mouse off the button pauses it.
Changed
- Quick Panel: an ON/OFF row now gives its setting name the space beside the switch (the box keeps its width), so longer names fit before they are cut with "...".
- PINNED page: when "Mod name: setting name" would wrap onto two lines, the mod name moves to the small line under the setting name, next to its yours / server / live tags, and the setting name stays on one line.
- Lists: when a list stops scrolling, it ends on a whole row. The last row is not cut off at the bottom; the box ends a little shorter instead (at most a row's height of empty space above the buttons). While the list is moving it uses the full height.
- Controller: with the menu open, LB, RB, X and Y are read once per frame instead of every 50 milliseconds, so a quick tap on a low frame rate is caught.
Fixed
- PINNED page at Text size 80: a slider row such as "Carry Sliders: Carry weight" keeps the setting name on one line, with the mod name on the small line under it.
- Quick Panel sliders: holding - or + steps at an even ten per second, however fast the game is running.
- Quick Panel: a click right after F4 with the mouse held still could be ignored, because the game had not yet reported the mouse over the button. A click with the mouse still where the press began now counts.
Known limits
- Pinned sliders step with - and +, and repeat while held. There is no drag handle in the Quick Panel.
- While you scroll, a list can still show a partly cut row; it settles on a whole row when it stops.
- Controller editing of the Quick Panel (Controller edit, hold View) is off by default, and with it on a quick View tap is not reliable while pins are shown.
- The Keys page can't see keys that native (DLL) mods bind on their own.
