Description
eCombatText is an addon similar to SCT and MSBT in WoW.
Features:
-this addon shows your own damage/incoming damage/healing values as scrolling texts.
-not only damage/heal but also shows miss, dodge and etc.
-you can configure display positions, direction and more.
-this addon works independent with client language(only tested with JP and EN though).
Configuration:
-type "/ect" for displaying GUI configuration window.
-there are some commands(type "/ect help" for lists and description)
you can not configure via commands while GUI configuration window is opened.
-you can change display positions by mouse dragging "OUTGOING" and "INCOMING" anchors.
Text colors:
-there is no configuration for text colors at this version.
-auto attack is shown as white, skills are yellow, crits are orange.
-heals are shown as pale green and crit heals are green.
-texts like miss are shown as purple.
Text font:
-you can change text font by replacing eCombatText/Fonts/ect.ttf file.
-you need to re-start client for reflect font changing.
-since i have not tested with *.ttc files, *.ttf files are recommended.
About AoE:
-AoE(both damage and heal) values are shown as "average value(skill name +hits)".
-only one value is able to show at once.
About skill icons:
-there are no icons for auto attacks.
-you can not display icons for skills that you don't have.
-with the exception with DoTs and HoTs
in order to show Dot icons, you need to target something that have corresponding debuff.
-"bleed" effects for rogues and warriors have some issues.
-they are distinguished by
if your class is R/* or */R, this addon shows rogue's bleed icon.
if your class is W/* or */W, this addon shows warrior's one.
if your class is R/W or W/R, this addon shows rogue's one.
if you want correctness for bleed icons, you better not to use skill icon option.
Known issues:
-since there is no way to put default damage display off(as far as i know),
sometimes this addon makes your screen messy.
-this addon does not display texts for mana changes(as well as rage and etc.)
-this addon does not display texts for your pet's damage.
ToDo:
-configurable text colors.
-implementing test mode for configuration.
Side note:
-this addon has been developed under JP server/client for months.
-that's why the version starts with 1.0.0.
