Description
The map includes the entire road to Lake Como and 3 nearby Colorado 14ers (Blanca Peak, Ellingwood Point, and Little Bear Peak). I created this map with USGS digital elevation models, QGIS, and worldpainter. I'm new to this, so constructive feedback is appreciated!
My goal is to make maps like this accessible to people who don't want to learn to use multiple programs in order to create them, and to showcase the beauty and scale of the landscapes in different mountain ranges.
Distant Horizons is pretty much required in order to actually see what is going on. I set my DH render distance to 700 and that was plenty.
